ConnectedClout is a platform built for competitive gaming communities. We're committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and competitive environment where all members can enjoy their gaming experience. These guidelines help ensure our community remains a positive space for everyone.
Respect and Conduct
Treat Everyone with Respect
- Be courteous and professional in all interactions
- Respect differences of opinion, skill level, and play style
- Use inclusive language that welcomes all community members
- Avoid personal attacks, harassment, or bullying
No Harassment or Discrimination
We have zero tolerance for harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or any behavior that targets individuals based on:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation
- Age, religion, or disability
- Skill level or gaming experience
Content Standards
Appropriate Content
When posting content (reviews, comments, timeline posts, etc.), ensure it is:
- Relevant to gaming, leagues, or the ConnectedClout community
- Free of profanity, offensive language, or inappropriate material
- Honest and constructive, especially in league reviews
- Respectful of others' privacy
Prohibited Content
Do not post content that contains:
- Spam, scams, or misleading information
- Sexually explicit or violent content
- Personal information about other users without consent
- Links to malicious websites or downloads
- Content that violates intellectual property rights
Competitive Integrity
Fair Play
- Follow league rules and commissioner guidelines
- Play fairly and honorably in all competitions
- Report suspected cheating or rule violations to league commissioners
- Respect game outcomes and league decisions
Accurate Information
- Provide accurate league and game information
- Submit honest reviews based on your actual experience
- Do not manipulate ratings, scores, or statistics
- Maintain the integrity of the Clout Score system
Reporting and Moderation
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it using our in-app reporting feature. You can report:
- Posts, comments, or reviews that violate our standards
- Users engaging in harassment or inappropriate behavior
- Spam, scams, or malicious content
Blocking Users
You can block users whose content you don't want to see. Blocked users' content will be hidden from your view. This is a personal preference and does not report the user for moderation.
Moderation Actions
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Content removal
- Warning notifications
- Temporary or permanent account restrictions
- Account suspension or termination
League Management
Commissioners
- Manage your leagues fairly and transparently
- Communicate league rules clearly to all members
- Respond promptly to member concerns and questions
- Enforce league rules consistently
League Members
- Follow your league's specific rules and guidelines
- Communicate respectfully with commissioners and other members
- Participate actively and contribute positively to your league
- Provide constructive feedback through league reviews
Privacy and Safety
Personal Information
- Do not share personal information (addresses, phone numbers, etc.) publicly
- Respect others' privacy and do not share their personal information
- Use discretion when sharing contact information in league communications
Account Security
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Do not share your API keys or account access with others
- Report any suspected account security issues immediately
Consequences
Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in immediate action, including but not limited to:
- Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a warning
- Content Removal: Inappropriate content will be removed, and you may be asked to review these guidelines
- Temporary Restrictions: Repeated violations may result in temporary restrictions on posting, commenting, or other features
- Account Suspension: Serious violations may result in account suspension for a specified period
- Permanent Ban: Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination
