Optional Discord community hub

ConnectedClout is your league home. Discord is an optional layer for leagues that already communicate there.

Why connect Discord (optional)

If your league already uses Discord for communication, connecting your community hub helps ConnectedClout align invites, recruiting, onboarding, and roster identity with where members actually meet.

Leagues that run on GroupMe, Band, or other tools can skip this entirely — your league home, recruiting, and credibility still work on ConnectedClout.

How to connect your league community

  1. Create or claim your league home on ConnectedClout (dashboard or mobile app).
  2. Open Connections for that league: Manage League → Connections (community hub). Sign in with Discord so we can list communities you manage.
  3. Choose your server — you need Administrator or Manage Server permission in that Discord server. If you are not an admin, ask a server admin to grant access or to complete the link for you.
  4. Save — your league home will show community hub connected. You can change or disconnect later.

Go to Commissioner Dashboard — pick your league, then use the Community hub action on the active league card.

What gets unlocked

  • Keep league invites connected to your Discord community.
  • Invite unregistered Discord members to join ConnectedClout.
  • Manage official team assignments in ConnectedClout Team Management.
  • Strengthen recruiting and league continuity for Discord-based leagues.

Optional automation (CloutBot)

CloutBot is not required. Add it when you want extra Discord automation — troubleshooting details below. You do not need CloutBot to connect your community hub on the web Connections page.

  1. Add CloutBot to your server (optional) — use the invite on the CloutBot page.
  2. In Discord, run /connect if you prefer linking from Discord instead of the web Connections picker. Choose your league when prompted.
  3. Configure (optional): /set-recap-channel, /set-article-tone, and related commands for articles and tone.

Troubleshooting

  • No servers in the list? Sign out and sign in with Discord again, or confirm you have Manage Server / Administrator in that server.
  • Server already linked to another league? Each Discord server can link to one league home at a time. Use the correct league or ask support if you need to move a link.
  • Member invites not showing? Confirm community hub is connected, then open Assign Teams for that league.
  • Optional automation?Check Connections → Advanced & troubleshooting on your league settings page.
